Terms of Service

By using the JADI mobile application (the "App"), you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. The Service

JADI is an Indonesian language learning application that provides structured daily lessons, vocabulary and grammar practice, pronunciation scoring, spaced repetition review, and related educational content. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account.
• One account per person. Do not share your account with others.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Subscription Terms

JADI offers premium access through auto-renewing subscriptions:

• Monthly — $8.99 USD per month.
• Annual — $59.99 USD per year (equivalent to $5.00/month).

Both plans include a 3-day free trial. During the trial you have full access to all premium features. No charge is made until the trial ends.

5. Auto-Renewal and Cancellation

Your subscription automatically renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings:

• iOS: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > JADI
• Android: Google Play Store > Subscriptions > JADI

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access until then.

6. Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) according to their respective refund policies. JADI does not process payments or refunds directly.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

• Use the App for personal, non-commercial language learning purposes.
• Not share your account credentials with others.
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the App's content.
• Not use automated tools to scrape or access the App's content or API.
• Not upload harmful, offensive, or illegal content through any feature of the App.

8. Intellectual Property

All content in the App — including lessons, vocabulary, grammar explanations, quizzes, audio recordings, stories, and illustrations — is owned by JADI and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

9. Audio Recordings

When you use the pronunciation practice feature, you grant JADI a limited license to process your audio recordings for the purpose of providing pronunciation feedback and scores. Your recordings are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the App's settings. Upon deletion, your personal data, learning progress, and audio recordings will be permanently removed within 30 days, as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that all content will be completely accurate. JADI is an educational tool and does not guarantee any specific learning outcomes.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JADI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or interruption of service.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America and the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
